Who we are
Meet Silke and Maisy
“My name is Silke and I'm thrilled to share that I have moved from Cheltenham to beautiful Largs with my rescue dog Maisy in December 2025 – one month later Hütehunde Pet Services came to life.”
Silke - “the German” - has a solid background in dog walking and pet care. She also has a great deal of experience in care work and looking after people, but after many years working in that field has decided to focus on providing exceptional dog walking and pet care services.
Maisy - a Romanian rescue - had a very difficult start to her life, living chained-up in a yard. She is now living a wonderful, happy life with Silke.

“It had been a long-cherished dream of mine to live with my dog by the sea and run my own dog walking business. I bought my van in spring 2025: a Morris Minor x Vauxhall van –
the St. Andrew's Cross on the grille. Little did I know that I would then move to Scotland.”
At Hütehunde Pet Services Silke offers solo and group walks, as well as pet drop-ins and occasional day and holiday care.
